It was a redemption story for Tayler Wallstrum in the stepladder finals. A year after falling in the championship match at Midway Lanes, Wallstrum used a combination of the Storm Ion Pro and Virtual Energy Blackout to get the job done and claim his first NDBPA State Singles title. For his efforts, Wallstrum took home the $1200 top prize. Great bowling Tayler!

Doubles

On Sunday, bowlers returned for the Doubles portion of the weekend. The event featured 37 doubles teams bowling a 6 game qualifying sprint on the 2022 SYC Indy Medium pattern. Bowlers would each bowl 6 individual games with the top 5 team totals advancing to the stepladder finals.

Qualifying was dominated by 2-time winners Blake Wallstrum and Thomas Wolf. Wallstrum lead all scores with a 1473 total while Wolf contributed 1387 which was 4th overall.
