The 2021 NDBPA State Scratch Team event was held this past weekend at North Hill Bowl in Minot. 15, 4-person, teams made the trip to the Magic City to bowl 6 games each day with the high pin total taking home the title.
On Saturday, Lucky Strike (Wade Scott, Mike Green, Mark Woznicki, Ryan Selk) got off to a quick start posting games of 966, 915 and 918 to take the early lead. By the end of the day, the lead was up to 149 pins.
On Sunday, the tides turned as Kruse’s Pro Shop (Dillon Meyer, Doug Wagner, Adam Peters, Eric Parvey) looked to take over the event. Each of Kruse’s first 4 games on Sunday topped the entire field. By game 10, Kruse’s Pro Shop had taken over the lead from Lucky Strike and would hold on the final two games to secure an 82 pin victory. Kruse’s Pro Shop finished with a 12 game total of 10532 (877 per game/219.41 per person). Leading the team with a 2707 12-game tournament total was Eric Parvey. Kruse’s Pro Shop placed 3 players in the top 6 individually with all 4 players finishing in the top 15.

Individually, it was a wire to wire victory for Ryan Selk. Selk posted at tournament high 1448 on Saturday and would finish with a 12-game tournament total of 2765 (230.41 Ave).
