Sunday
– Match Play followed by live TV finals on Western ND NBC Stations.
– Live TV Finals begin @ 12:30 pm.

Storylines
Lane Pattern Analysis
The lane pattern for the 2024 KFYR TV Bowling Classic will be a custom 42 foot pattern with over 33 mls of oil and a ratio of 2.79-1 on the right and 2.4-1 on the left.
The volume of this pattern stands out as the catalyst. While the track area will be in play early on, the carry down phase will ultimately decide the top 30. Players will be forced to either play the friction towards the gutter, or bump into the middle part of the lane with enough ball reaction to chew through the oil.
I think it will be imperative for those on the left side to get score early while those on the right will need to remain patient as scores will rise toward the end of the block. Those who are able to navigate the transition in games 3 through 5 will find themselves bowling on Sunday. I expect the cut to be in the Even to +30 range.
Degree of Dominance
Since 2022, no player has performed as well in the Majors as Brady Stearns. Stearns has bowled for the title in 8 of the last 9 NDBowling.com Majors he has entered and will look to capture his 3rd KFYR TV Bowling Classic title this weekend. With a win, Stearns would join Matt Smallin, John Juba, and Jack Nelson as the only bowlers with 3 KFYR Titles. A win would also give Stearns 5 NDBowling.com Major Titles, something only 4 other players have accomplished (Schmidt, Schick, Mills & Smith).
Will Stearns continue his impressive run at the Majors? Hard to bet against him.
