Posted on January 27, 2026 By admin

The 23rd Annual Morris Anderson Memorial Shootout was held this past weekend in Minot. The Magic City welcomed 117 bowlers to North Hill Bowl for a shot at over $20,000 in total prize fund.

The tournament started on Saturday with an 8 game qualifying round on a custom 44 foot pattern. As the talented field of bowlers progressed across the 40 lane center, it was pretty clear that some decent scores were going to be recorded. When the dust settled, 5 players turned in scores north of 200 over. Leading the way was 2016 USBC Open Eagle Winner, Chris Hill, with a 1872 total. The cut to the top 30 was Daniel Kimmer at 1637.
