Saturday’s qualifying round was held on the 2-1 ratio 2017 USBC Masters pattern. This pattern played extremely difficult as not a single bowler in the field would go on to shoot plus in qualifying. The top 16 bowlers advanced to the bracket where 3 game total pin matches would take place.
On Sunday, Thomas Wolf took out Daren Seney in the first round as both bowlers struggled to find a consistent look. Wolf would advanced to play Ryan Holzworth in the second round. Following a lackluster game 1, Wolf made a zone move game 2 that would lead to averaging over 225 the last two games in the match. This would vault Wolf to the victory in the match along with the #1 seed on the NDBowlTV show.

Wolf finished out the tournament with a double in the tenth to defeat Brad Peterson and win a spot to the 2021 USBC Masters. Congratulations, Thomas! The win will also give Wolf an early lead in the 2020-2021 NDBowling.com Player of the Year race. This marks the 2nd straight season where the winner has doubled in the tenth on a demanding oil pattern to win the title.
